Leeds Rhinos will be making their first appearance at Elland Road since 2010 on Thursday as welcome back ex Rhino Danny McGuire and Hull Kingston Rovers.
Hull KR are back in the Super League after a year in the Championship following their loss in the 2016 Million Pound Game against Salford Red Devils.
The Rhinos are looking to maintain momentum following a possibly important opening night win at Warrington last Thursday while Hull KR had a harsh reintroduction to Super League life after suffering a 28-6 defeat at home to Wakefield.
Stevie Ward returns to Leeds Rhinos squad as he has finished his recovery from shoulder surgery in the off season, while Nathaniel Peteru has been ruled out with Quad Injury. Mitch Garbutt also returns.
Hull KR’s squad is unchanged following their defeat at Wakefield.
The match will kick off at 7.45 and the referee will be Robert Hicks.
