2017 League Leaders Castleford Tigers are looking to bounce back on their return to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle as they welcome last years bottom side Widnes Vikings.

Despite the differences in both sides fortunes last year, it is actually Widnes who come in off the back of a win as they beat Catalans Dragons 40-12, whilst Castleford fell to a 46-6 defeat at St Helens.

Oliver Holmes called the game “must win” for the Tigers.

The Tigers have made two changes to their 19 man squad as Alex Foster and Jy Hitchcox come into the side. Joe Wardle drops out with a hamstring injury and Jake Trueman misses out with concussion.

Widnes have also made two changes to their squad as Patrick Ah Van misses out with a broken arm and Ed Chamberlain drops out. Young players Danny Walker and Olly Ashall-Bott make the side.

The match kicks off at 3.30pm and the referee will be Chris Kendall.
