London Broncos have once again laid down the marker that they are serious candidates for the Super League this year with a thumping 47-16 victory against Toronto Wolfpack at the Trailfinders Sports Ground. Two tries from Alex Walker as well as tries from James Cunningham, Jordan Johnstone, Rhys Williams, Matt Davis and Api Pewhairangi did the damage for the Broncos. Tries from Richard Whiting, Andrew Dixon and Liam Kay kept the Wolfpack in the game in the first half, but they were well beaten.

Toulouse also won 32-26 at Leigh Centurions, to hand their hosts a third defeat of the season. Two tries for Gavin Marguerite as well as tries from Rhys Curran, Bastien Canet, Mark Kheirallah (who also added four goals) and Stan Robin won the game for the French side. Matty Dawson scored two tries, as did Liam Hood and Ilias Bergal added another for the Centurions but it has not been the return to the Championship they were hoping for.

Elsewhere, Featherstone Rovers remain in a good position after a 58-14 win over Sheffield Eagles, who remain winless. Shaun Robinson and Anthony Thackeray scored two tries each to go with individual efforts from Martyn Ridyard, Luke Briscoe, Sam Brookes, Frankie Mariano, Ian Hardman (who also added seven goals), Matty Wildie and Josh Hardcastle won the game for Rovers. Oscar Thomas (who also added a goal), Iliess Macani and Matty Fozard all scored to get Sheffield on the scoreboard, but it was no where near enough from them.

Batley Bulldogs also won big as they claimed a 32-12 victory over Barrow Raiders. Dave Scott and Bradley Day both scored two tries to go with individual efforts from Dane Manning and Wayne Reittie earned the win for the Bulldogs. Tries from Ryan Fieldhouse and Alec Susino kept the Raiders in the game, but they suffer defeat for the second time this season.

Dewsbury Rams also put in a brilliant defensive display to keep Swinton Lions scoreless. Rob Spicer, Aaron Brown and Macauley Hallett all scored tries in the 20-0 victory for the Rams.

Lastly, Halifax were made to work hard for their 26-20 win at Rochdale Hornets. Will Sharp scored two tries as well as individual efforts from Ben Kaye, Simon Grix and Ed Barber won the game for them. Tries from Rob Massam, Patrick Moran and Harvey Livett kept the Hornets in the absorbing contest, but it is back to back defeats for them.
