The RFL have announced the much awaited news of a test match being played in the United States.
With the success of the Toronto Wolfpack and rumours of a New York City franchise, the next step was to take the game out there.
Wayne Bennett’s men will be taking on New Zealand at Sports Authority Field, home of the Denver Broncos NFL side, on 23rd June.
It is the first time England have played in America since 2000 when they faced the Americans in Orlando.
It is the fourth fixture organised between the two nations this year after announcing a tri-match series in October/November. The matches will take place in Hull, Liverpool and Leeds.
It is hoped the game will actively promote the game ahead of the 2025 World Cup which will be taking place in the States and Canada.
