Leeds Rhinos forward Keith Galloway has been forced to retire after his latest injury problem.
The Australian tore his Achilles for the second time recently and hasn’t returned to the club following their World Club Challenge defeat against Melbourne Storm.
He may well play in the amateur game in Australia but he did say he was undecided if he would return to playing in some format- although he did confirm it wouldn’t be full time.
Although Galloway’s spell at the Rhinos was a frustrating one due to his persistent injury problems, he said that he loved his time at the club and that he would “always be a Rhino.”
The Sydney born forward has had a career spanning 15 years. He started at Cronulla Sharks, where he spent two years before moving to Wests Tigers, where he spent nine years at before his move to Leeds, where he won a Super League title- his only major honour.
