Warrington Wolves

Warrington Wolves halfback Declan Patton has been given a five match ban by the RFL for his high tackle on Bureta Faraimo during the Wolves’ defeat to Hull FC.

Patton had challenged the grading, but this was dismissed and also given his previous record and that Faraimo was left concussed as a result, a five match ban was appropriate.

Daniel Smith of the Huddersfield Giants also appeared in front of the tribunal to challenge his Grade B Dangerous Contact charge. This was dismissed and he was given an additional game ban as the RFL believed the challenge was unreasonable and frivolous.

Also in front of the panel was Jamie Dallimore of Barrow Raiders, who appealed his Grade C Dangerous Contact charge. This was dismissed by the panel and he will be banned for four games instead of the original three.
