Brown retires from England

Warrington Wolves halfback Kevin Brown has announced his retirement from international rugby league today.

The halfback has made 10 appearances in eight years for his country and was named in Wayne Bennett’s Elite Performance squad for the upcoming tests against New Zealand.

Reacting to the news, he said that now was the right time to retire, as he will be 34 by the time the tests coming round.

And with some great young halfbacks coming through like Sam Powell and Danny Richardson the future is certainly bright Wall of White.
