St Helens forward Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook has commuted his future to St Helens after signing a new one year contract at the club.
London born McCarthy-Scarsbrook joined the club in 2011 from London Broncos and has since shown himself off as a versatile forward who is not afraid of playing anywhere in the pack.
The Ireland international has won one Super League title and the League Leaders Shield, both in 2014 in Nathan Brown’s final year at the club.
With the club now under the leadership of Justin Holbrook, the forward said he is looking forward to extending his time at the club, while also stating he and the rest of the team are trying their best to deliver silverware to the club this year, with the club not winning anything since 2014.
He will hope to celebrate this news with a win over champions Leeds Rhinos at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday.
