Kells’ Challenge Cup adventure is over after suffering a 56-6 defeat to Canadian side Toronto Wolfpack.
A hat trick from Liam Kay, two tries from Nick Rawsthorne, and tries from Blake Wallace, Quentin Laulu-Togagae, Jonny Pownall, Ryan Brierley, who also added eight goals and Andy Ackers won the game convincingly for the Championship side.
Lewis Smith scored the only try for the NCL side, but they can be proud of their efforts and can now focus on the league.
The Wolfpack now have a Challenge Cup Fifth Round match to look forward to for the second time in their two year existence. In the meantime, they travel to Rochdale Hornets next Friday.
As for Kells, they are back in NCL action next Saturday as they welcome Wigan St Patricks next Saturday.
Meanwhile Doncaster advance to the fifth round with a convincing victory over Newcastle Thunder.
Tries from Richard Owen, Liam Harris, who also added five goals, Jack Sanderson, Liam Welham, Aaron Jones-Bishop and Sam Doherty won the game for the Dons.
Newcastle will have a chance for revenge over Doncaster as early as next week as the sides meet at Kingston Park next Sunday.
