Warrington are up to 9th in the Super League, joining four other sides on four points. They host Wakefield Trinity next Friday night.

Elsewhere, just when we thought we had gotten rid of the last cold snap, another one comes and claims a rugby league victim as Wakefield’s game with Widnes was called off after 27 minutes.

Trinity were winning 2-0 at the time with a Liam Finn penalty, but will have to rearrange their game when the weather eases.

Wakefield are back in action next Friday when they travel to the north west to take on Warrington.

As for Widnes, they welcome Salford Red Devils to the Select Security Stadium next Thursday.
