In a second Super League casualty of the week, the Castleford Tigers match against the Wigan Warriors will have to be played again after heavy snowfall in the area.
It is the second game that the Tigers will have to rearrange after their match against Hull KR three weeks ago also was called off because of the snow.
It follows last nights abandonment between nearby Wakefield Trinity and Widnes Vikings.
The decision was taken at 10am and fans will be informed next week as to when the fixture will be replayed. Fans were also told to keep hold of their stubs as they will be eligible to attend the new fixture.
