Parramatta Eels are the latest club to declare their interest in Wigan Warriors prop Ryan Sutton.
Sutton has already attracted interest from Canberra Raiders, who boast English talent including Josh Hodgson and Elliott Whitehead, and Newcastle Knights, who are coached by Super League winner Nathan Brown.
According to Wigan Today, the prop has also attracted interest from Cronulla- Sutton was named as one of the players meeting with their head coach Shane Flanagan.
Now, it seems that the Eels are throwing their hat into the ring, if press reports in Australia are to be believed.
There is always a story about how we should do be doing more as a country to keep hold of our best players, but you cannot deny the attraction of Australia is a big one.
Whether or not Sutton can emulate the successes of the likes of Whitehead, Hodgson and Gareth Widdop remains to be seen. There are other stories like Jordan Turner who left the Raiders having not even played a game for them and Matty Russell who left Gold Coast Titans after not playing a game.
