NCL Premier Round Up: Rangers stay top as Kells, Knights, Crusaders, Hunslet and West Hull win

Egremont Rangers stay top of the NCL Premier after a 24-12 victory over last years runners up Siddal.

Elsewhere, Kells put a second thrashing on Wigan St Patricks in two weeks to claim their first win of the season.

Tries for Craig Benson, Scott Lofthouse, Tyrone Dalton, Troy Armstrong, Paul Culnean, Grant McLaughlin and Daniel Dougherty confirmed the big win for the Cumbrian side.

Normanton Knights also came back to action after their Challenge Cup exploits last week with a 20-4 win at Myton Warriors.

Two tries for Connor Wilson and another for Kieran Hinchcliffe earned the Knights.

A sole Adam Piggott try was all the Warriors could come up with in reply.

Last years champions Thatto Heath Crusaders got back to winning ways with a 34-18 win over Rochdale Mayfield.

Two tries for David Meadows, as well as efforts from Corey Lee, Michael Stark, Connor Dwyer and Mitchell Cox won the game for the St Helens side.

Hunslet Club Parkside also managed to keep up their perfect start to the season as they won 13-4 at Wath Brow Hornets.

Lastly, West Hull played their first game of the season as they beat newcomers Underbank Rangers 30-16 at home.

Tries for Richard Wilkinson, Jack Snowden, Raymond Brown, Nathan Powley and Lee Cator won the game for the East Yorkshire side.
