Wolfpack secure narrow win in Rochdale

Canadian side Toronto Wolfpack claimed victory at struggling Rochdale Hornets, who gave a very good account of themselves.

Tries from Liam Kay, Josh McCrone and Rene Maitua won the game for Paul Rowley’s side.

Whilst for Rochdale, tries from Earl Hurst, Gary Middlehurst and Rob Massam and a drop goal from Morgan Smith had the Hornets in front for a large majority of the game, but they fall short.

Toronto Wolfpack have gone top for now as London Broncos and Toulouse are yet to play this week. In the meantime, they travel to Featherstone Rovers next Friday.

As for Rochdale, they are 10th in the Championship after just one win from their first five games. They travel to fellow strugglers Sheffield Eagles next Friday.
