Workington Town returned to league action with a victory against London Skolars who remain winless.
Two tries each for Sam Forrester and Jamie Doran as well as tries from James Newton, Kurt Maudling and Sean Penkywicz won the game for the Cumbrian side.
Two tries for Charlie Lawrence as well as efforts from Jymel Coleman, Elliot Hall and Callum Field, who also added three goals, kept the Skolars in what was a high scoring affair at the White Hart Lane Community Sports Stadium.
The Skolars are in 11th place in League One, with just one point to their name after three games.
They face a London derby as they travel to Hemel Stags next Friday.
As for Workington, they go up to second as Leon Pryce’s debut season in management continues to go well.
Like London Skolars, Workington also face an away derby next Friday as they travel to fellow Cumbrian side Whitehaven.
