Wigan Warriors Fullback Sam Tomkins has been linked with a move to French side Catalans Dragons in various publications.
The fullback is in his second spell at the club after spending two years in the NRL with New Zealand Warriors.
The rumours have surfaced as a result of reports that Zak Hardaker will sign for the club.
The England international was sacked by Castleford Tigers a month ago after failing a drugs test. He tested positive for cocaine after their victory over Leeds Rhinos in the Super 8s.
The Dragons have been struggling for form this year having picked up just two wins from their first nine games.
If this transfer does go through, then some may wonder about the future of PNG international David Mead and ex Warriors fullback Lewis Tierney. Tony Gigot’s future could also be in doubt, he has returned to action after serving a drugs ban.
