Mark Andrews will return to Huddersfield Giants as an advisor to interim head coach Chris Thorman, the West Yorkshire club has announced.

Andrews was initially at the club from 2009 to 2010 as a Performance manager under the now Newcastle Knights Head Coach Nathan Brown.

And now after a few years working down under with Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union side and NRL sides St George Illawara Dragons and the Knights, he is now back in the UK.

Thorman was winless in his first two games as Giants head coach after drawing 22-22 against Leeds Rhinos on Good Friday and losing 27-6 to Catalans Dragons on Easter Monday.

He will hope the extra help can put the Giants back in the right direction.
