Widnes Vikings centre Krisnan Inu has been ruled out for up to three months after breaking his leg.
The New Zealand International picked up the injury during their Good Friday derby defeat to Warrington Wolves.
Inu initially tried to play on through the injury, but was then forced off by the Vikings medical staff.
His loss will be a big blow for the Vikings with Inu at the front of everything Widnes have done well this season.
With a bit of luck, he could be back before the end of the regular season.
