Batley Bulldogs player Jack Downs will be banned for three games after pleading guilty to a Grade D charge of a reckless strike with the forearm/elbow. Downs also received a £250 fine for his actions.
He will miss the Bulldogs games against York City Knights, Dewsbury Rams (Summer Bash) and Halifax.
Meanwhile, Benn Hardcastle of Keighley Cougars will also serve a three game ban after an unsuccessful challenge at a Grade C charge of contact to the head.
Hardcastle was initially served with a two match ban, but was given an extra game as the disciplinary panel felt the challenge was ‘frivolous’.
He will miss the Cougars games against Newcastle Thunder, Oldham and Hunslet.
