Halifax’s game against Barrow Raiders on Sunday has been chosen as a destination for the charity publication “100 months of Welsh Rugby League” which will raise money for the Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund.

Jones died after collapsing on the pitch during Keighley Cougars’ League One match at London Skolars in 2015. He was 32 and died of an undetected heart condition.

The book will be on sale at the club shop at The Shay prior to the match on Sunday.

The book will also be raising funds for the family of Torfaen Tigers player Scott Bessant. Bessant was found unconscious in the street in August 2017 and remains in a vegetative state.

The book will also be sold at the home of Torfaen Tigers as they take on Swindon St George on Saturday and will raise money for “Scott’s Angels”, the charity made in Bessant’s name to help fund an aid vehicle for him.

They play at New Panteg RFC and will be on sale before the game which kicks off at 2.30pm.
