Wakefield Trinity put on a stunning late show to beat Huddersfield Giants at the John Smiths Stadium.

Two tries from Mason-Caton Brown and other efforts from David Fifita and Ben Jones-Bishop as well as five goals from Ryan Hampshire, including a late penalty, won the game for Trinity.

Two tries for Jermaine McGillvary and individual efforts from Matt Frawley and Adam O’Brien, and a late drop goal from Oliver Russell seemed to win it for the Giants, but they fell a point short against Wakefield again.

Catalans Dragons put their defeat to St Helens firmly behind them with a 37-6 win at Hull FC.

Tries from Fouad Yaha, Tony Gigot, who also added a drop goal, Brayden Williame, Arthur Romano Matt Whitley and SamisoniĀ  Langi won the game for the Dragons convincingly against a Hull side that could only muster a Mickey Paea try in response.

Finally, Salford Red Devils claimed back to back wins as they put Leeds Rhinos to the sword.

Two tries for Adam Walker, and individual efforts from Lee Mossop, Joey Lussick and Robert Lui was enough for the Manchester side to claim victory.

The Rhinos responded with tries from Mikolaj Oledski, Harry Newman and Ash Handley but their stop start season continues.
