Hunslet and Newcastle hope to put pressure on top two
Hunslet and Newcastle Thunder will go head to head in South Leeds with the hope of putting pressure on those above them.
The Leeds club are on the same points as Oldham in third with Newcastle just a point behind, and can go a point behind Whitehaven and London Skolars at the top.
The Thunder have had a new lease of life since their new Head Coach Simon Finnigan came in at the start of the season, and have recovered from a slow start.
Doncaster host West Wales to boost playoff hopes
Doncaster will hope to get their own playoff aspirations on track when they welcome West Wales Raiders to the Keepmoat Stadium.
The North Yorkshire side are just two points off Workington Town who are in the final playoff position, and they will want to close the gap.
West Wales on the other hand have adjusted hard to life as semi professionals. This season, they have struggled to field a full 17 players at times, and have only scored 76 points and conceded 398 points this season.
They will hope for a bit of respite, but I don’t think they will get it there.
Coventry host North Wales as both look to pull clear of trouble
Coventry Bears will host North Wales Crusaders with both sides looking to pull clear of the bottom reaches of League One.
The Bears are on six points, and the Crusaders are just two points behind them.
Both will be hoping to steer their seasons towards a course of competing for the playoffs and a win could go a long way to ensuring that.
