Widnes Vikings welcome Sheffield Eagles on Friday as they look to climb out of the bottom two.
The Vikings have been hit with a 12 point deduction following them entering administration at the start of the season.
Sunday’s defeat against York City Knights, coupled with Barrow Raiders’ win against Rochdale Hornets, meant the Vikings slipped into the bottom two of the Championship.
This is their chance to come out as it is their game in hand over those around them.
Sheffield on the other hand, have had a very good start to the season, as they currently lie in fifth place, and very much in that highly congested race for the playoffs.
A win for them will take them up to third, just two points behind second placed Toulouse.
The Vikings have made three changes from that game against York with Jack Owens, Jayden Hatton and MacGraff Leuluai all come back into the squad in place of Lloyd Roby, Sam Freeman and Owen Farnworth.
Sheffield make two changes from their defeat against Toronto Wolfpack as Daniel Hindmarsh and Bradley Tagg make way for Sonny Esslemont and Nathan Mason.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm.
