Raiders thrash young Bulls

Barrow Raiders thrashed a much changed Bradford Bulls side 50-6 to reach the quarter finals of the 1895 Cup.

A Brandon Pickersgill try did have the young Bradford side in front at half time.

But Barrow responded with 50 unanswered points as two tries for Jamie Dallimore, who also added seven conversions, and individual efforts from Alec Susino, Jono Smith, Brett Carter, Jarrad Stack, Dan Toal, Jake Spedding and Deon Lewis Cross won the game for the Raiders.

Eagles thrash Fax

Sheffield Eagles produced a stunning display to beat Halifax away from home to reach the 1895 Cup Quarter Finals, winning 52-8.

Two tries each from Jason Crookes and Ben Blackmore, as well as individual efforts from Patrick Burns, Anthony Thackeray, Josh Guzdek, Lewis Taylor, Aaron Brown and Ryan Millar earned the highly impressive win for the Eagles.

Halifax responded with tries for Calvin Barker and Reece Chapman-Smith, but the much changed side couldn’t live with their opponents.
