Hull FC 35-32 Salford Red Devils- Two tries for Albert Kelly and individual efforts from Jake Connor, Mark Minichello, Jamie Shaul and Ratu Naulago earned back to back wins for the Black and Whites in all competitions. Salford responded with two tries from Pauli Pauli and Wigan Warriors bound Jake Bibby, as well as individual efforts from Robert Lui and Niall Evalds, but they fell just short.

Castleford Tigers 27-26 Huddersfield Giants- Tries from Greg Minikin, Liam Watts and Grant Millington and four penalties and a drop goal in Golden Point Extra Time by Peter Mata’uita won the game for the Tigers. Huddersfield responded with a hat trick from Lee Gaskell, and another for Joe Wardle, but they couldn’t hang on for victory.
