Five players charged after Leigh-Halifax tussle

Five players have been charged after a scuffle during Leigh Centurions’ 31-8 win over Halifax on Sunday.

Jacob Fairbank and James Woodburn-Hall of Halifax and Toby Adamson of the Centurions have all avoided bans for their parts, despite being charged with punching.

While Dan Fleming of Halifax and Sam Brooks of the Centurions have both been given one match bans for their parts in the scuffle.

Meanwhile, Nathan Clemmit of Newcastle Thunder has been referred to the tribunal after being charged with a Grade F offence of Use of Unnaceptable Language.

He will be joining new teammate Muizz Mustapha, who joined on loan from Leeds Rhinos. He has been charged with a Grade D Dangerous Throw from an academy game.

Finally, Jack Brown has avoided a ban for Doncaster despite being charged with a Grade A Dangerous Throw.
