Super League leaders St Helens are looking to bounce back from their shock defeat at London Broncos when they take on Huddersfield Giants on Friday night.
That defeat was only Saints’ second of the season, and this week they welcome back a lot of the faces that were missing.
As for Huddersfield, they also come into the game off the back of Golden Point heartbreak after losing 27-26 at Castleford Tigers last Friday.
The home side welcome back Tommy Makinson, Jonny Lomax, Alex Walmsley and Lachlan Coote into the squad after they were all rested last week.
Regan Grace and James Roby are among those to drop out, Roby is set to be out for four weeks after groin surgery.
While the Giants have Jermaine McGillvary missing with injury.
Lachlan Coote vs. Darnell McIntosh- A blend of youth and experience. Coote is one of the most experienced full backs in the league, he has even won the NRL with North Queensland in 2015 and is a very versatile player. McIntosh is one of the newer fullbacks on the scene, but has impressed since coming through the ranks. The two should have a really good battle.
Mark Percival vs. Jordan Turner- Two former teammates who are set to have a really good battle. Turner was at Saints with Percival, and often played together in the centres until he departed in 2016. Since his return to Super League, he has never been on the winning side against his former club, something he will be aiming to put right.
I am expecting Saints with comfortably, especially with the players they have back. Saints by 20.
