Salford Red Devils Head Coach Ian Watson and London Broncos Head Coach Danny Ward have been named assistants to Wayne Bennett for the upcoming Great Britain tour.

Watson has been at Salford since 2015 after a previous stint at Swinton Lions.

Meanwhile Ward has been in coaching at the Broncos since 2014, landing the Head Coach role in 2018 as Andrew Henderson left to take a coaching role at Warrington Wolves.

As players, Watson made 30 appearances for Wales, while Ward earned a cap for Great Britain.

The Great Britain side head to New Zealand, where they will play two games against the All Blacks inbetween games against Tonga and Papua New Guinea. The first game is on 26th October and the last is on 16th November.
