Warrington Wolves and St Helens will renew acquaintances at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.

It is second versus first in the Super League, with Warrington needing a win to keep their hopes of winning the League Leaders Shield alive.

Saints, who are six points clear at the top of the table, won 38-12 at the Totally Wicked Stadium when the two clashed earlier in the season.

Warrington welcome Luther Burrell, who joined from rugby union side Northampton Saints, into their squad and could make his debut.

Meanwhile Saints welcome back Joseph Paulo, who replaces the injured Zeb Taia.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm.

Key Battles

Blake Austin vs. Jonny Lomax- Both players have fantastic line speed and know how to find the try line. Austin currently leads the Man of Steel rankings and Lomax has found himself as a new player since moving to halfback in 2017 to accommodate Ben Barba.

Josh Charnley vs. Regan Grace- Both players have had some interesting battles in the last few times Saints and Warrington have gone head to head. The most memorable was a try saving tackle by Grace to stop Charnley as the two teams met in the 2018 Super 8s.

Prediction

Its going to be a very close game, both sides are certainly capable of getting a result here. I am going to for Saints by one point.
