NCL Review: Hornets top of Premier Division

Premier Division

Hunslet Club Parkside 21-6 West Hull- Two tries from Ben Shulver and another for Connor Squires won the game for Parkside. Tom Burke responded for West Hull but they fall to a second straight defeat.

Egremont Rangers 6-12 Wath Brow Hornets- Hornets go top on points difference, Rangers stay fourth.

Division One

Oulton Raiders 32-24 Pilkington Recs- Tries from Andy Tillett, Greg Colbridge, Dec Storey, Danny Stanley and Andy Williamson earned a first win in six for the Rangers. Pilks responded with two tries from Tom Connick, and other efforts from Jamie Smith and debutant Andy Morris, but they suffer back to back away defeats.

Saddleworth Rangers 18-40 Featherstone Lions- Lions go into second, one point behind the league leaders Pilkington Recs

Division Two

Beverley 42-4 Hull Dockers- Beverley close the gap to the playoffs and go above the Dockers in the process.

East Leeds 28-66 West Bowling- West Bowling remain in touching distance of Ince Rose Bridge at the top, East Leeds remain close to the bottom

Division Three

Batley Boys 46-10 Hensingham- A hat trick for Josh Whitehead, and individual tries from Adam Bingham, Matthew Sheridan, Josh Knowles, Gavin Davis and Jordan Brown won the game for Batley. Hensingham responded with tries from Callum Morgan and Chris Smith but they were well beaten in the end.
