Hill given two match ban for crusher tackle

Warrington Wolves forward Chris Hill has been banned for two matches after being charged with Dangerous Contact during their 21-10 defeat against St Helens.

The tackle on Mark Percival went unpunished at the time by referee Ben Thaler.

In the same game, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook was given a caution for disputing the deicison not to award a penalty for Hill’s tackle.

Also, Jack Hughes has been given a cuation for the shoulder charge on Tommy Makinson that led to him being in the sin bin.

Elsewhere, Kruise Leeming has been charged but not banned for Dangerous Contact, during his side’s defeat at Wakefield Trinity.

Finally, Wigan’s Romain Navarette has been cautioned for use of the knee during their win over Salford Red Devils.

In the same game, Tyrone McCarthy was cautioned as well for kicking out.
