Hull FC host league leaders St Helens at the KCOM Stadium on Friday night hoping to close the gap on second place.
The Black and Whites are hoping to bounce back after a disappointing defeat in last weeks derby against Hull KR.
As for the Saints, they went eight points clear of second placed Warrington Wolves with a win over Wolves last Friday.
Hull welcome back Albert Kelly and Gareth Ellis into the squad after injury. There is also a place for Joe Westerman despite him dislocating his knee last week in last weeks derby.
Saints come into the match without a recognised hooker after Aaron Smith failed a fitness test following his clash with Sitaleki Akauola last week. Adam Swift takes his place in the squad against his new employers.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm
Albert Kelly vs. Jonny Lomax- Two halfbacks who have had outstanding seasons so far. Both players have been instrumental in helping their sides get where they are and could help to unlock the defences.
Ratu Naulago vs. Regan Grace- Two wingers who have taken the Super League by storm since breaking through. Both wingers have got really good speed and technique in attack and defence. Both are dangermen for their teams.
This a really hard one to predict, mainly because of FC’s hit and miss form. I think Saints will win, but by one point.
