Castleford Tigers host Leeds Rhinos at the Mend A Hose Jungle in an important West Yorkshire derby where both sides need the points.

The Tigers need the points to keep their playoff hopes on the right track, while the Rhinos are after points to get them away from relegation trouble.

The hosts claimed a much needed win against London Broncos to get them into fourth place.

Meanwhile the Rhinos also claimed a much needed win at home to Catalans Dragons, but they are still level on points with the bottom placed Broncos.

Castleford welcome back Greg Eden and Mitch Clark into their squad after Jake Trueman and Tuoyo Egodo were ruled out with concussion.

Leeds on the other hand welcome Ashton Golding and new signing Rhyse Martin into their squad. Golding has spent most of the season on loan at Featherstone Rovers.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm

Key Battles

Cheyse Blair vs. Konrad Hurrell- Two players who made their names in the NRL before coming to the Super League. Both players had quite the battles at Melbourne Storm and Gold Coast Titans respectively. I would expect both to renew rivalries here.

Mike McMeeken vs. Trent Merrin- Two very dangerous forwards who know how to put the metres in. Both players are very capable going forward and their offload games and power plays are ones to watch.

Prediction

It will be close, but I personally think Castleford will just have too much for the Rhinos. They will win by four points.
