Dragons host Wakefield as both sides look to get back in the top five

Catalans Dragons host Wakefield Trinity at the Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday night as both sides look to get their playoff hopes back on track.

The Dragons have ,lost their last five games and now find themselves outside of the playoffs.

As for Wakefield, they won their first Super League game in over a month as they beat Huddersfield Giants last Friday.

The hosts do have some welcome team news as Michael McIlorum, Matt Whitley, Tony Gigot and Kenny Edwards are all available again after injury.

Wakefield make two changes, Joe Arundel is another player back from an injury layoff, he replaces youngster Jack Croft in the squad while Lee Kershaw replaces Mason Caton-Brown.

The match kicks off at 5pm.

Key Battles

Fouad Yaha vs. Ben Jones-Bishop- Two wingers are both fast and powerful. Both players are notirously hard to defend against and both could well be a route to points.

Remi Casty vs. David Fifita- Two hard hitting props who put in the metres, both players are dangerous and should be watched when both sides come through the middle.

This is a tricky one, Wakefield stopped their run last week but I think Catalans may see this as the opportunity to make a statement and will win by four.
