Salford sign Johnson

Salford Red Devils have confirmed the signing of forward Josh Johnson from Barrow Raiders.

Johnson has had a varied career so far, he started at Huddersfield Giants before several loan deals at Doncaster, Batley Bulldogs and Oldham before heading to Hull KR.

Whilst at Rovers, he had two more loan deals at York City Knights and Leigh Centurions before moving permanently to the Raiders.

He has had his best form at the Raiders, scoring three tries in 15 games so far this season, and also found his feet as a kicker.

Johnson has signed an immediate contract and is in contention for the Red Devils’ game at Warrington Wolves on Friday.
