Former England international forward Gareth Hock has officially announced his retirement from rugby league.
Hock had not long re-signed for Leigh Centurions, before shoulder surgery meant he has had to cut his career short.
The forward started his career at Wigan Warriors, before stints at Widnes Vikings, the Centurions, Featherstone Rovers and Barrow Raiders before coming back to Leigh.
He was also part of the Great Britain side that beat Australia in the Tri Nations in 2006, the last time a UK/England side was successful against the Aussies.
Hock will say goodbye to the Leigh fans during a farewell appearance against Batley Bulldogs on Sunday.
