Bennion and Hewitt given two match penalty notice

Swinton Lions forward Gavin Bennion has been given a two match penalty notice after being charged with Dangerous Contact during their win over Barrow Raiders.

Bennion was placed on report for the tackle on Stargorth Amean.

Sam Hewitt of Workington Town has also been given a two match penalty notice after being charged with an intentional trip during their win over Keighley Cougars.

He was sent to the sin bin for the incident in the closing stages of the match.

Also in the Championship, Daniel Igbinedion of Dewsbury Rams has avoided a ban despite being charged with Dangerous Contaxt during their defeat against Halifax.

He was placed on report for the tackle on Steve Tyrer early on.

Finally, Ryan Boyle of Doncaster has been given a one match penalty notice after being charged with striking with his knee during their defeat against Newcastle Thunder.
