Drighlington have gone sixth in Kingstone Press NCL Division Three after a 26-24 win at Heworth.

The win takes them above Waterhead Warriors and Leigh East in the division to boost their chances of making the playoffs.

As for Heworth, they have missed the chance to close the gap on the top three.

Drighlington now have a week off before travelling to Dewsbury Celtic in another test of their playoff credentials.

Meanwhile, Heworth also have a week off and they face another test as they travel to league leaders Hunslet Warriors.
