Salford Red Devils centre Kris Welham has signed a contract extension for the 2020 season.

Welham signed for the Red Devils in 2017 after leaving Bradford Bulls following their liquidation. He scored 29 tries in 30 games for them.

The 32 year old started his career at Hull KR, where he scored 102 tries in 191 games before joining Bradford.

Since joining Salford, he has scored 29 tries in 76 games for the club and helped the club to the Super 8s in 2017, though they didn’t make the final four.

He continues to be an important part of the squad as Salford hunt for a playoff place.
