Wigan Warriors forward Sean O’Loughlin is facing up to eight weeks out with a pectoral injury.
The England international suffered the injury in his sides win at Hull FC, and it was feared he would need surgery.
However, the Warriors confirmed he would not need surgery on the injury and could be back before the end of the season.
In other news, Tommy Leuluai has signed a new contract to remain at the Warriors until the end of next season.
The New Zealander is in his second spell at the club after initially leaving the club in 2012 to play for New Zealand Warriors in the NRL.
