Halfback Ben Reynolds has returned to Leigh Centurions on a contract until the end of next year.
Reynolds had joined Wakefield Trinity in 2018 after spending three years at the Centurions originally.
The 25 year old started his career at Castleford Tigers before loan spells at York City Knights and Doncaster and then made the permanent transfer to the Centurions.
He has struggled to hold down a first team spot at Wakefield, having made just six appearances so far this season. He has also made four appearances on loan at Featherstone Rovers.
Reynolds could make his second debut in Sunday’s game at already relegated Rochdale Hornets.
