Wakefield Trinity have announced a temporary swap deal with Halifax which sees Adam Tangata and Keegan Hirst swap clubs until the end of the season.
Tangata re-joined Halifax in the middle of the season after a short stint at Widnes Vikings, he would leave as a result of their financial uncertainty.
He will be playing Super League rugby for the first time after helping Fax to the semi finals of the Challenge Cup semi final where they gave a very good account of themselves in defeat against St Helens.
Tangata could make his debut on Sunday against Hull FC.
Keegan Hirst will be playing for his sixth club in Halifax, having previously had two spells at Dewsbury Rams and Batley Bulldogs as well as other appearances for Hunslet, Featherstone Rovers and Wakefield.
Hirst made history in 2015 as he became the first British professional rugby league player to come out as gay.
