Edinburgh Eagles welcome West View Warriors over the border as they do battle for a place in the North East Grand Final.

The winner will play the Jarrow Vikings in the final in Whitley Bay.

The Eagles qualified for this game after a narrow 20-18 defeat against the Vikings in the Grand Final Qualifier. They previously claimed a walkover victory over Cramlington Rockets.

Edinburgh are aiming for a Grand Final in their debut season in the North East Mens League.

As for the Warriors, they are also looking to reach the Grand Final for the first time in their debut season.

They qualified for the playoffs in fifth place, meaning they have had two straight away games, but they cam through them both. The first was at defending champions Wallsend Eagles, and the second was at third place Cramlington Rockets.

The match kicks off at 2.30pm.
