Lions thrash Spring View in Friendly

Ince Rose Bridge Lions have thrashed Wigan Spring View A 32-0 in a friendly at Spring View.

The two Wigan sides went head to head in a bid to keep fit following the six week break in the North West Mens League.

Ince are bottom of Division Four having seen their only points this season be taken away as a result of two walkovers.

As for Spring View, they are second bottom in Division Five, just one point above Bolton Mets.

This victory could certainly give the Lions confidence as they head into the final few weeks of the season. They are back in action on August 31 when they travel to Saddleworth Rangers A.

As for Spring View, they next play in the Merit League against Hindley A on the same date.
