Bulls announce they are to leave Odsal

It is the end of an era as Bradford Bulls confirm they are to leave Odsal Stadium.

The news comes after the Bulls chairman Andrew Chalmers said he refused to sign a lease, because of a number of factors, including unknown maintenance costs and the true cost of running the stadium.

They will make Dewsbury Rams’ Tetley Stadium their temporary home, subject to RFL approval.

The RFL have also released a statement saying they have not had contact with the Bulls regarding a change in stadium, and therefore would not be commenting on the matter.

Chalmers has also said the club is looking at potential sites for a new stadium in the city, and expects to be at least two to four years before they will be back in Bradford.
