Jarrow Vikings and Edinburgh Eagles do battle in Whitley Bay on Saturday to be crowned champions of the North East.

The Vikings finished top in the weekly rounds and qualified for the final with victory against the Eagles in the Grand Final qualifier.

The side from Tyneside are also hoping to avenge last year after losing in the final against Wallsend Eagles.

As for Edinburgh, they make the final in their debut season in the competition. They qualified for the final after winning a classic 44-34 against fellow newcomers West View Warriors last Saturday.

The match will also be raising funds for the Whitley Bay Barbarians Womens team and their tour of Australia next year.

It is at North Shields Rugby Club and will kick off at 3pm.
