Betfred Championship Review: Battle for playoffs to go down to wire

Dewsbury Rams 10-34 Bradford Bulls- Tries from Steve Crossley, Matty Wildie, Ross Peltier, Elliott Minichella, Brandon Pickersgill and Ross Oakes earned the big win for Bradford. Dewsbury responded with tries from Liam Johnson and Adam Ryder, but they fall to defeat.

Leigh Centurions 34-22 Widnes Vikings- Two tries from Iain Thornley and Stefan Marsh as well as individual efforts from Adam Higson and Liam Hood guaranteed the Centurions a place in the playoffs. Widnes responded with two tries from Keanan Brand and other efforts from Jayden Hatton and Olly Ashall-Bott but they are not out of danger yet.

Swinton Lions 32-12 Halifax- Two tries from Richard Lepori and other efforts from Craig Mullen, Mike Butt, Matthew Ashton and Chris Hankinson and penalty from Jack Hansen won the game for the Lions. Fax responded with tries from James Saltonstall and Jacob Fairbank but they are defeated on the road.

York City Knights 22-18 Featherstone Rovers- Tries from Will Oakes, Kris Brining, Graeme Horne and Joe Porter earned the Knights safe passage into the playoffs. The Rovers responded with tries from Jack Render, Callum McLelland and Alex Sutcliffe as well as a penalty from Dane Chisholm, but they are in a scrap for that final playoff place.

Sheffield Eagles 44-18 Barrow Raiders- Two tries from Ryan Millar, Corey Makelim and Menzie Yere, as well as individual efforts from Aaron Brown and Josh Guzdek kept Sheffield in the hunt for a playoff place. Barrow responded with tries from Tom Walker, Deon Cross and Jono Smith but they are on the brink.
