Crusaders win at Siddal to boost playoff hopes

Thatto Heath Crusaders kept their impressive unbeaten record going after a 26-12 win at Siddal.

Tries from Josh Crehan, Corey Lee, Lewis Foster, Adam Prendergast and Daniel Davies claimed another impressive win on the road for the St Helens side.

Siddal responded with a try from Lewis Hosty and three penalties from Gareth Blackburn, but their playoff hopes take a hit.

Thatto Heath move just a point behind Hunslet Club Parkside in third place, but Siddal fall five points behind their opponents.

The two teams go head to head once more in St Helens next week.
