Dudley Hill deducted points

Bradford Dudley Hill have had a four point ban upheld by the NCL for fielding an ineligible player.

The player in question, Martin Southwell, played during the Bradford sides win at Shaw Cross Sharks.

Southwell had a two game ban at his former club, and though he did serve the suspension, his club had not paid the fine that came with the suspension.

As a result, his return had not been sanctioned by the powers that be, therefore he was not eligible to play.

That deduction leaves Dudley Hill fighting for their place in the playoffs in NCL Division Two.
