Three players have been charged in the Championship and League One for offences involving the referee this week.
Rochdale Hornets winger Brandon Wood has been given the heaviest penalty after he was given a two match penalty notice for using foul and abusive language to an official during their defeat at Halifax.
Wood was sin binned for the offence at the time and will now miss their game against Bradford Bulls and their first game in the 2020 season.
Bulls forward Connor Farrell will also miss the game on Sunday after he was charged with dissent.
Like Wood, he was sin binned for the offence during the Bulls’ win over Sheffield Eagles on Sunday.
In League One, Hunslet centre Nathan Chappell was also charged with foul and abusive language to a match official.
Chappell was sin binned for the offence during his sides defeat against Workington Town on Sunday.
He was just given a one match ban however, meaning he will miss Sunday’s match against Oldham.
